Walking into the New Year - 2026

Take a good first step into 2026! If lower limb pain is keeping you off your feet and keeping you away from the activities you love or things you need to do, give us a call. A 45-minute appointment, either in an allied clinic or in your own home or business, can help identify the root of your symptoms and find a solution that will work for you.

A Canadian Certified pedorthist like Evan can assist with a variety of lower limb conditions to get you back on your feet and moving. He can help alleviate:

  • heel and arch pain

  • plantar fasciitis

  • flat feet

  • high arches

  • knee and ankle pain

  • Achilles, peroneal, and tibialis posterior tendinitis

  • sciatica

  • bunions

  • calluses and corns on the foot and toes

  • swelling and edema in the lower limb

  • tingling and numbness in the feet and toes

  • diabetic comorbidities such as peripheral neuropathy or ulcers

  • low back pain

  • leg length differences

Treatments may include:

  • custom orthotics built by Evan himself with features specifically chosen to benefit you and your exact conditions

  • footwear modifications such as stretching, lifts, or excavations

  • footwear recommendations to help you choose shoes that will help to limit your symptoms while still being something you would like to wear

  • lower limb bracing to help address ankle and knee pain/instability

  • compression garments to help with tired/aching legs, lymphedema, and swelling

  • referral to a more appropriate health care provider such as a Registered Massage Therapist, Osteopath, Foot Care Nurse, Physiotherapist, or Physician - if Evan can't help you directly, he should at least be able to point you in the right direction

Custom orthotics are covered by many benefits plans. A prescription from a physician is often required as part of the paperwork for submission but a pedorthist does not need you to have a prescription for the initial assessment. Evan can put together a letter using his findings from the assessment for you to bring to your physician to aid in getting a prescription.
